L'antico caminetto bed & breakfast is situated in an elegant apartment, recently redecorated, on the 8th floor of a quiet and upper class building. In the heart of milan, in a familiar atmosphere, you will feel comfortable like at home.
The rooms available for the guests are a comfortable living room, a cosy dining room where a rich and tasty breakfast is served and n° 3 bedrooms: a single bedroom and double bedroom with private bathroom and a triple bedroom with a bathroom in exclusive use. Free wifi in every room.
The building overlooks the Solari park, equipped with various children spaces, a public swimming pool, a jogging track and cycle track (practicable to the centre of town). Tn front of the b&b you can find a bank, a drugstore and a post office. In a 5 minutes walking distance you can reach the San Giuseppe hospital, a big supermarket and the Tortona area home to milan fashion district and "Fuori salone" exhibition centre.
A 10 minutes walk will take you to the navigli area, well known for its typical restaurants, bars and nightlife.
As for touristic and cultural needs, the B&B is very close to the science and technology museum, the Sant'Ambrogio Basilica, the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church and Leonardo Da Vinci's "Cenacolo".
The area is very well served with public transportation: green line metro (Sant'agostino stop) that leads to all town areas, including fiera-milano city, fiera milano-rho, cadorna train station (stazione nord), central station. Other surface transports are the n° 50, 14, 19, all connected with the centre of town.
Valet parking close to the b&b (20 mt. on the right). On request we can provide (at very convenient fees) shuttle service to milan central station, to cadorna station, and to linate airport.
